Child Protection Case Conferences
The Child Protection Case Conference (CPCC) is a formal meeting when there have been identified child protection concerns about a child or young person. Anyone who is involved with the family can be invited to attend a CPCC and this course will support you to understand what will be expected of you at a CPCC.
Introduction to the Child Protection Case Conference
The aim of this training is to introduce participants to the purpose and function of the Child Protection Case Conference.
On completion of this training participants will know
- What a child protection case conference is
- Who attends the child protection case conference
- The purpose of the child protection case conference
- What a child's plan is
- What a core group is
- Their role at a child protection case conference
All frontline staff and managers in the public, private and voluntary sectors including health, education, social work, police, housing, community services and the voluntary sector who may be invited to attend a Child Protection Case Conference.
